Universalizing the TPNW : How to Engage Nuclear Armed and Allied States
The TPNW comprehensively outlaws nuclear weapons and requires their abolition. The major challenge is how to expand and universalize the treaty to countries that depend on nuclear weapons for their national security, including Japan. How should we engage the nuclear armed states and their allies? This session will discuss the challenges and future prospects with experts who are leading this effort.
