SUZUKI Masakazu
Professor Emeritus, University of Tsukuba
Suzuki was born in Tokyo in 1952 and graduated from the Department of Agricultural Biology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tokyo in 1975. After working as a landscape architect for 16 years at the Japan Housing Corporation, he worked as an assistant at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tokyo for 4 years, and then retired after 26 years of environmental design at the University of Tsukuba. Since 2009, Suzuki has been researching trees that survived the atomic bomb.
