Associate Professor, Nagoya University of Foreign Studies (2017-Present). She has worked on nuclear security and nuclear nonproliferation with the Delegation of Japan to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), among others. She is a co-author of Hiroshima Report (Nuclear Security), Designing a Nuclear-Weapon-Free World (2025), and Introduction to Disarmament Issues, 5th edition, (2025).
