Let us create a future together:
a World without Nuclear Weapons
The 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki is approaching. Now, we learn anew the realities of nuclear damage and shed light on the inhumanity of nuclear weapons. The abolition of nuclear weapons is an urgent challenge for us all. Regardless of age, gender, title, or place of origin, people from all walks of life should come together and join hands to create a world without war, without nuclear weapons. In this Forum, let us contemplate on what we can accomplish together.
Momentum Towards the 80th Anniversary:
From Japan to the World
The Third Meeting of States Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in March 2025. At this Forum, we will develop our recommendations and submit them at the Meeting of States Parties.
